Download a copy of Photosphere, the original high dynamic-range image browser for Mac OS X. This version (1.7.6) is backwards-compatible with Panther 10.3.9. Please let me know if you run into any problems by writing to the e-mail address in the readme_pf.txt file.

If you have one of the new Intel-based Macs, you may download the Universal version of Photosphere (1.7.6U), which has the exact same feature set as the PowerPC-compiled verison, but runs much faster on the new Intel-based Macs. It also works on PowerPC-based Mac's, but is not backwards-compatible with previous OS releases. I have tested this version, and am reasonably confident in its ability to read and write byte-swapped catalog files, but it is a good idea to back up your old catalog before using it, just in case.

Added the ability to stitch panoramas from standard and HDR inputs. See the following page to see a comparison to Photoshop results, and a nice JPEG-HDR sunset.
